About our insulation contractor team in Lakeville

How I got from the kitchen table to the attic
I didn't start out in attics. I started on the sales side of insulation, sitting at kitchen tables and explaining quotes, and after a few years I wanted to be the one doing the work. So I learned the trade in attics, basements and crawl spaces next to experienced installers, and in 2017 I started this insulation contractor business here in Lakeville.
Most of our calls come from homeowners with a cold room, a heating bill that keeps climbing or ice on the roof edge, plus some business owners with commercial space. Whatever brings you to us, I'd rather you understand what's going on in your house before you pay for anything, and I'll answer the same question as many times as it takes. You can see all the work we do from our home page.

What working with us is like
Plain answers, even when it's no
I come out myself to look at the job and answer every question in plain words before you decide anything, and when our installers finish, I check the work with you. I've sold this work, so I know how easy it is to push the bigger job, and you'll hear just as plainly when your attic needs its gaps sealed more than it needs foam.
Every step on its own line
Your estimate is free, written on site and comes with no obligation. Each step of the job sits on its own line, so you can see what you're paying for and hold it up against any other bid.
Permits in our name
When a job calls for a permit, we pull it, sign for it and set up the inspections, so you're not on the hook for our work. If we're not sure a job needs one, we check with the city's building office before we start.
Our license and the rules behind it
Licensed and insured
Licensed and insured. Under the state Department of Labor and Industry's rules, a contractor who works directly for a homeowner in more than one skill area needs a building contractor, remodeler or roofer license, while a contractor doing only one specialty skill isn't required to hold one.
City permit and license checks
The City of Lakeville issues building permits and checks the contractor's license on every building permit application. The city's own advice is that a contractor who asks you to apply for the permit yourself probably isn't licensed.
